We’ve been doing work with Robert for close to 15 years. He’s one of the more proactive GC’s we work with and believes that his projects success is dependent on a complete team effort. Twice a year, Robert gathers every trade/sub that works on his projects, for a “meeting of the minds”. Each and every upcoming project is discussed. Concerns and “better practices” are presented with everyone in the room and it helps build a team environment. Potential pitfalls and wasted time are often avoided by this exercise. This not only helps Robert and his group but it’s a tremendous help to all the subs. The end results of these meetings are faster, less expensive and better built self storage projects for the developer, which is why Robert High is one of the best GC’s in the Storage industry.

Robert High and his team are a delight to work with. They have built numerous properties for us in the Carolinas and Virginia. Robert High and his team designed and built us 50,000 ft.² of rentable space here in Greensboro North Carolina and I am extremely pleased with him and his work! I consider myself to be very blessed to have found Robert High in the early stage of building my first self-storage project. I didn’t really know what I was doing but he led me every step of the way. He was very helpful with the site planning as well as the building design and layout. My engineer noted that his input on the site plan saved me quite a bit of construction money. We had record rainfall here in 2018 so, therefore, we had a lot of issues with wet soils and bio-pond conversion. Robert was an absolute Rock Star working to solve all the weather related issues without blowing up my budget. I highly recommend Robert High! Brinson & Sons has been working with Robert High Development from day 1. It has been really neat watching RHD grow into a very large successful development company over the many years. We have worked with many mini storage developers over the years and I would say RHD understands the ins and outs of mini storage facilities better than anyone.
